With the Foil Scoot, dock starting and pump foiling are now accessible to everyone. The handlebar makes starting easier by providing full balance and control over the board. This allows beginners with no prior foil experience to learn dock starting much more easily.
At the same time, riders who already have foil experience will also find that the learning process is greatly simplified. The added control from the handlebar increases confidence during the start and improves safety. Most people are able to learn pump foiling in just a few attempts, whereas mastering a traditional pump foil can sometimes take months or even years.
The height-adjustable handlebar can be easily mounted and removed in just a few seconds. As you progress, it is also possible to ride without the handlebar.
Using the handlebar makes it easier to take a short run-up before pumping away. This allows you to pump foil in many more locations—especially in the Netherlands, with its abundance of waterways.
It’s the ultimate fitness workout, where you literally fly forward over the water. Pushing yourself to pump just a little farther each time is a huge challenge.
You can easily practice it every day, before or after work, which means you can get on the water incredibly often.

What is Foilscoot?

Is Foilscoot safer than dock starting?
Because you remain in constant contact with the Foilscoot, especially during the jump onto the board, it is significantly safer than riding without a handlebar. Since collisions with the dock or other people are still possible, we always recommend wearing a helmet and an impact vest.
Does the handlebar make pumpfoiling easier to learn?
The handlebar provides extra stability, allowing you to easily balance and control the board. This means you can learn pumpfoiling much faster compared to traditional setups, which often take months to master. The handlebar is also removable, giving you the option to ride without it once you feel comfortable.
Do I need watersports experience to use Foilscoot?
Not at all. The Foilscoot is designed for both beginners and advanced riders. The handlebar makes the learning process much easier, so even without prior pumpfoiling experience, you can get started quickly and safely.
Where can I use a Foilscoot?
The Foilscoot can be used on lakes, canals, rivers, and the ocean.

How long does it take to learn pumpfoiling with a Foilscoot?
Thanks to the added stability of the handlebar, most riders can start pumpfoiling after just a few attempts. While every rider is different, the learning curve is significantly shorter than traditional pumpfoiling, which can take months or even years to master.
What else do I need to get started with Foilscoot?
In addition to the Foil Scoot, consisting of a board with a handlebar, you will also need a complete foil setup.
Wearing a helmet and impact vest is strongly recommended. Water shoes are required in many locations for protection, and a wetsuit is necessary in colder conditions.

We ship worldwide, including to Switzerland, Norway, Dubai, the USA, and Australia. Please note that large items like boards cannot be shipped, and some items are available on request only.

Orders placed before 15:00 on business days are shipped the same day whenever possible. Otherwise, shipment will take place within 24 hours.
