The KT Drifter 5 is KT’s versatile wing foil board for 2026, now even more stable on the water and lighter in the air.
We tested the KT Drifter 5 and were immediately impressed by how easily this board gets going. That was already the case with the previous version, but this one feels like it’s about 10 liters larger in terms of stability. It also accelerates slightly faster, likely thanks to the slightly increased length.
Thanks to the maintained width, the board has a slightly flatter profile, which results in a direct and controlled feel underfoot. In addition, the weight has been reduced again: the Pro Carbon construction is about half a kilo lighter than its predecessor. You mainly notice that difference on the foil — or rather, you don’t, because the board feels even less present. This allows for fast, smooth turns with no noticeable mass.
n short, a true all-rounder suitable for every level. The larger sizes are ideal for beginners, while the smaller variants are perfect for advanced riders who appreciate a stable board.
The board is available in two constructions: Carbon and the even lighter Pro Carbon.
Each board comes standard with footstraps, screws, and an anti-twist set.

The Drifter 5 has been redesigned around the idea that a blend between glide and stability unlocks foiling progression and more days on the water. This sleekest Drifter to date improves take off by offering low-end stability to settle into your stance from kneeling to standing and helps the board stay planing, planted, and controlled when conditions are messy.
Using our signature yet subtle blend of aero nose and rails improve airflow, reduces windage and hides volume while the standing zone remains direct, supportive, and stable. This balance makes the Drifter 5 an ideal choice for riders who want a board that feels forgiving and easy to stand on the water, yet responsive and engaging once up on foil.

Slightly longer and narrower outline than previous Drifter Series. Subtle aero nose keeps the board feeling compact and thinner in the standing area relative to its volume.
