The Axis Foils ART v2 1099 is the successor to the popular ART series. The new version is a further development and, with an aspect ratio of around 10, sits between the Spitfire (aspect ratio approximately 7.5) and the Art Pro (aspect ratio approximately 12+) range.
This is a demo front wing; it is still in reasonable condition, with only superficial scratches.
These frontwings perform very well in our North Sea swell and are fast and easy on our lakes. AXIS ART versie 2 – 1099mm (area 1220cm2)

Description
The AXIS ART V2 1099 will immediately catch your eye as a great balance between the ART Pro and the Spitfire series. Its design blends the speed and glide of the ART Pro with the maneuverability and responsiveness of the Spitfire, creating a foil that seems versatile right out of the box.
Performance in Small Bumps. When we first tested the 1099 in light, small bumps in the San Francisco Bay we were immediately impressed with how well it pumped. We could drive the pump with more power, without needing the same level of finesse. This gave a sense of control and efficiency, especially in smaller waves where pumping usually requires more effort.
Maneuverability & Turning. Once we found some decent small bumps, the 1099 really came to life. Its turning and directional changes were seamless, allowing to make sharper and more responsive movements with ease. A standout feature was how forgiving the foil was when the tips came out of the water — you couldn’t even tell when it happened. This made it feel incredibly stable and confidence-boosting during my session.
The AXIS ART V2 1099 strikes a fantastic balance between performance and ease of use. It’s a great choice for foilers looking for a pump-friendly, stable ride that still offers sharp turning and responsive handling. Whether you’re riding small bumps or working on your pumping technique, the 1099 delivers without demanding too much finesse, making it accessible for intermediate to advanced riders. The ART v2 1099 is the answer for easy-to-use light winds winging, and small bumps SUP / DW / Parawing / Foil Drive and Prone. And if you are into wake foiling, it will give you great control roaming from the front to the back wake.

Free delivery to EU countries on orders from €100 to €449 and above. * Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the destination country.

Shipping international
We ship worldwide, including to Switzerland, Norway, Dubai, the USA, and Australia. Please note that large items like boards cannot be shipped, and some items are available on request only.
Orders shipped outside the EU are exempt from 21% Dutch VAT. However, local customs fees and import VAT may apply.
Ships within 24 hours
Orders placed before 15:00 on business days are shipped the same day whenever possible. Otherwise, shipment will take place within 24 hours.

We don’t have this product in stock ourselves, but our supplier does. The product will be shipped directly from the supplier to your address. Your product may take a little longer to arrive.

Pick up (only in the Netherlands): By appointment, also possible in the evenings and on weekends.
When your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation by e-mail with a track & trace code. Then the delivery service takes over. The delivery time depends on your location. Unfortunately, we have no influence on that.
Returns
You have a legal cooling-off period of 14 calendar days when you are a customer within the EU. Within that period you can inform us to cancel the purchase. Refund of the purchase amount will be made after the actual return of the product. All transport costs are by the customer. Read more about the return procedure here.
